stiksandstones Posted March 23, 2006 Posted March 23, 2006 Hello, I did not build my site, only maintaining it now, but I have a module (??) that has a FREE shipping option for all. Below is what my checkout looks like when you get to the shipping.php, there is the UPS options and below is a radio button for FREE USPS. In the business we are in, FREE shipping is very common. Anyway, I am wondering if anyone knows what add on this but more importantly how can I make this radio button/Option NOT appear until a certain amount is in the cart. I am getting awfully tired of using free shipping for a $20 item! Just wondering how I can make this not even appear until you have lets say $100 of items in cart. Thank you Here is what the checkout looks like; Please select the preferred shipping method to use on this order. Please Select () United Parcel Service (1 x 0.5lbs) () Next Day Air Early AM $54.68 () Next Day Air $22.61 () Next Day Air Saver $20.93 () 2nd Day Air $13.73 () 3 Day Select $9.56 Free USPS Priority Shipping () Shipping to US : 0.5 lb(s) $0.00 And here is what my ADMIN/MODULES/SHIPPING panel looks like; Modules Sort Order Action Free Ground Shipping Per Item Table Rate United Parcel Service 0 United States Postal Service Free USPS Priority Shipping
stiksandstones Posted March 23, 2006 Author Posted March 23, 2006 Anyone? So this module is a mystery?
stiksandstones Posted March 24, 2006 Author Posted March 24, 2006 So this module is a mystery? Friday bump?
DavidR Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 I'm just guessing but it looks like whoever built the site just created some standard shipping modules (easy, just copy existing ones and modify a bit) to give some free shipping options. This is fine if you don't mind offering free shipping on all purchase amounts. It sounds like you need something more like this. You would add that contribution, set it for the minimum amount over which you want to provide free shipping and then remove the existing free modules. David
