NBEP Posted March 23, 2006 Posted March 23, 2006 Hi Everyone! My buttons are not displaying on my website. I was advised in an earlier post to check to make sure the folder was there and to make sure the folder permissions were set at 755 and images permissions set at 644. I have done all that but it has not fixed the problem  the buttons are still not displaying on my website. Any help with this would be great, thanks.

jasonabc Posted March 23, 2006 Posted March 23, 2006 I have to agree with Henry's earlier post. This button should be there but it is not: http://nbepublications.biz/includes/langua...ton_in_cart.gif If you are doubly sure that folder (and iamge) are there then it's a permissions problem. I just double checked the folder to make sure the image is there and it definately is there, so if it is a permissions problem do you have any suggestions on what I should do, I am not real familar with setting permissions and what permissions should be on what folder etc, etc, etc.
jasonabc Posted March 23, 2006 Posted March 23, 2006 You can sometimes use your FTP client to set permissions - but some ISP's don't allow this so instead go to your File Manager in your Hosting Account Control Panel. Browse to the directory concerned, click the button/link that says "Change Permissions" (or something similar) and set the correct permissions on the folder Jason My Contributions: Paypal Payflow PRO | Rollover Category Images | Authorize.net Invoice Number Fix

NBEP Posted March 23, 2006 Author Posted March 23, 2006 See: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=185617 OK. I just went to post install and followed the directions, now I am getting the following message on my website: Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: /home/nbepubli/public_html/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file. Could someone tell me what permissions I need to set on what folders, because I will have to start over again, I can't remember what they were set at before I changed the permisssions. Sorry everyone I know I am a pain.
