what file controls the catagories??

hi,

 

i have a strange problem.

i have uploaded all my files and im happy with my site.

BUT

 

for some reason there is a rogue nbsp; showing up and i dont know where it is.

which page controls the catagories and sub catagories?

 

i have taken a screenshot of my problem.

Look in your /catalog/categories.php

 

That string you are seeing SHOULD be   it is shoiwng nbsp; because the & is missing.

 

Look through (or search through) that file and look for nbsp; where the & is missing and change it to   - it will then go away

hi im doing a search but its coming up with thousands.

which page is it your refering to?

the admin catagories file?

or is there another one? :)

There should only be one or two sets in there.. not thousands :)

i dont have that file...

 

ive just downloaded and uncompressed the oscommerce files again and its not in there...

???

 

none of my instals have it at the root either...

 

and there isnt a catalog folder in the instalation..

p.s.

only file i can find called catagories is in the admin folder...

 

 

( i meant thousands of  's showing up )

ive solved it.

 

problem was with the header file.

 

damn my eyes hurt
