Currency problem with PayPal and checkout

I am sure this error is caused by something I have one wrong so wondered if anyone could give me some guidance as to how to correct.

I set up my store and changed it in admin so that I have only one currency ( GB ?'s ) -after much pfaffing around to get the price to show on the screen as anything other than 0 - All shows OK on the screens, however when a customer purchases an item with PayPal I receive the payment in US $'s.

For example if I have an item on the screen for ?3.00 the actual payment I receive from PayPal is $3.00. yet the email I receive from the shop tells me that it was bought for ?3.00.

I editted the default USD currency listing and changed it all over to the necessary GB?'s , so I suspect this is where I went wrong. Do I need to have both US $'s and ?'s in the currency option lists ?

goto your osc admin->modules->payment select the paypal module click edit change the currency radio to one you want. see if it works, if it does, put it back to the default currency and see what else you missed from the osc configuration. Maybe the switch to the default language currency in "My Store" is incorrectly set?

Is your currency set to GBP in Admin>Localization>Currencies?
