dreamingdigital Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 >_< I've looked through all the admin and I can't find where to enable show products with 0 quantity or out of stock. My client wants to be able to show them because then you can get at the notifications part and be notified when it becomes in stock again  CP
Avec Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 In Admin>Configuration>Product Listing set Show Out of Stock to true.
dreamingdigital Posted March 22, 2006 Author Posted March 22, 2006 That makes sense that it would be there. But I don't see it: It's also not here: Any advice? CP
Guest Posted March 22, 2006 Posted March 22, 2006 there isn't such a switch with the default osc files so start looking at the contributions http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,2382
dreamingdigital Posted March 22, 2006 Author Posted March 22, 2006 there isn't such a switch with the default osc files so start looking at the contributionshttp://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,2382 I installed that contribution this afternoon. It's nice because it hides the add to cart buttons for out of stock items. You can see the working example here. The quirks are: 1. In the admin if the product is listed as "in stock" but has a quantity of 0 it displays in the store with an "out of stock" message. 2. But if in the admin the product is listed as not in stock and has a quantity of 0 (or any other number) it will not display in the store. I always want to show all product. BUT I want out of stock items to say so and not be able to purchase more than are available. HELP!! CP
