lildog Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 Hopefully someone can answer this. I want to use a repeating background pattern in my info box headings, but I do not want to do it via the stylesheet. I tried to using <td background="images/table_bg.jpg"> in the /includes/boxes/categories.php and that wasn't the answer.... Thank you Todd
rabbitseffort Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 is there a reason to not do it thru the stylesheet? It works and is easy "I must admit that I personally measure success in terms of the contributions an individual makes to her or his fellow human beings." ---Margaret Mead--- "The answer is never the answer. What's really interesting is the mystery. If you seek the mystery instead of the answer, you'll always be seeking. I've never seen anybody really find the answer -- they think they have, so they stop thinking. But the job is to seek mystery, evoke mystery, plant a garden in which strange plants grow and mysteries bloom. The need for mystery is greater than the need for an answer. --Ken Kesey"
lildog Posted March 20, 2006 Author Posted March 20, 2006 Well, i use an older 'puter so I try to be very aware of being backwards compatible. I don't think older Netscapes accept setting the cell backs via style sheet. I suppose it could be more trouble than it is worth. Not sure though. I will give it a try though.
lildog Posted March 20, 2006 Author Posted March 20, 2006 My appologies....it does work even in the old NN. Thanks for the suggest. I would have done it the hard way.
