haishibushuohao Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 i finish my website about one week ago. i got a lot of people complain that they can not open it. so i called the tech support company they said my website works fine. And i did check with some webtool it looks fine. but when i ask my friends to help me check the website most of them say they still can not open it. i am wondering is there anyone met the samething. or any suggestion what should i do. thank you.
custodian Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 www.fomentbag.com I can access the site just fine I see you registered the domain on 26-Dec-2005, did your hosting company set it up right away or did you just recently have them set it up? The reason I asked is that when a new domain is set up it takes time for it to populate through-out the Internet. Some folks may not be able to get to it, while others can. Usually 24 to 48 hours is enough, though DNS records at some sites/hosts may be slow to update. I'd give it another day or two and then have your friend check again, if they still cannot access it - then make sure 100% they are typing in the correct url, and it they are give your hosting company a call back looking for a reason why.
