englishchrissy Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 Hi, Ive downloaded the dutch language contribution and unzipped the contents into the languages directory as instructed. I changed the settings to add the dutch language in admin and sure enough there was the dutch flag in the languages box. When I clicked on the flag all went pear shaped! I got out my debugger and followed the code and found that it was looking for catalog\includes\languages\dutch\index.php. There is no file by that name in the contribution. So I copied the english index.php to the dutch directory and now it works but obviously with the english language defuinitions from index.php. Where is the dutch index.php? Someone somewhere must have one. I can get it translated, I'm English, but live in Holland but there must be one. Thanks for your time. Webmaster www.SexoticToys.co.uk
arend Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 i used osCommerce-2.2ms2-dutch-v2.1.zip and it worked great, so maybe this one wil work for you http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contri...ll/search,dutch
englishchrissy Posted March 19, 2006 Author Posted March 19, 2006 Cheers, Ive now got the dutch index.php. Thanks I have now spotted another strange thing. If i click on the dutch flag the dutch language is displayed but if i navigate to another page it reverts back to English. This is not right. It should stay on dutch. Is there another setting that I have to change. Webmaster www.SexoticToys.co.uk
♥Vger Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 If your default Browser language is set to Dutch you should land on the homepage in Dutch and stay on the site in Dutch. Try it, you can always switch it back to English again. Vger
englishchrissy Posted March 19, 2006 Author Posted March 19, 2006 Thanks for the help. It did indeed display the page in Dutch when I set the browser language to Dutch. Thanks again. Webmaster www.SexoticToys.co.uk
