purplechaos Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 Hi, I am new to making a website and using php etc., I have downloaded oscommerce but do not know what do now. Would this be to hard for someone who is totally new to php, database,admin etc., Would it be better that I buy from a template store that has admin functions.
stardust Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 Calm down dude.First, you don't need to know php and those things, just download the STS template system and you can edit your shop with HTML, easy and fast. Database is easy too, all you have to do is create a new one with phpmyadmin in your server, osC will take care of the rest ;) Well, you'll have to learn about the admin functions, even if you buy a template.

Ok, I know a little about css,html. That is all. I had paid someone to make my website but its not what i had wanted and decided I should do it myself. But I do need an admin function because I sell things. I do not know what the STS is. Can you give me the website to the place to download the template please. If you could please help me. I'm a woman...
