I set it up form the instructions from the book Geginning PHP 5 and MySQL E-Commerce. I belive I did everything right. so I tried it again...and now apache will not run.....very frustrating

So what are you referring to in "IT" won't run? And you do know that localhost typed from your OWN computer means that it is looking in YOUR comptuer, not the server where the store is at? (Unless they are one in the same) I am trying to get apache and PHP runnign on my macine so I learn how to program PHP..instead of relying on osCommerce. cets-online.com is completly seprate from what I'm trying to do with this post.

The easiest way to do that is to install xampp which has the apache, mysl and php all set to go in it with a single installation. Have you tried this? My Contributions Henry Smith

Have you tried this? Can't say I have. where do I find such a thing...i'm going to go try a google search and I'll come back if I cna't find it.
