transfering customers from one DB to another

hiya again, ok, it seems that when 'they' transfered the customers from one cart to an updated cart. Both osc

they forgot to bring over some customers, these customers are now trying to place orders.

How do i transfer over 1 customer into the new db?

what tables do i need to copy and how do i copy over their login info etc?

Do you have Add customers mod installed or Edit orders or Stepbystep order entry mods installed? If not, add them as if you were checking out - manually. A password and welcome email will probably be regenerated, but it will get the job done.

 

If you try to export the data from the old Mysql table into the new one, it may overwrite the old customer id to the new one, or vicver.

 

This does happen and has happened to us when we were switching databasess as well, customers bought on old site and we had to manually add them to new site. You can shutoff send emails in Configuration -->email options and then add them manually and turn it back on.
