thall89553 Posted March 18, 2006 Posted March 18, 2006 When I first set up my oscommerce I opted not to specify the SSL option. I have now fully customized the files in the site and am going to get my client set up with an SSL certificate. I have my hosting with Godaddy and on the server there are two directories, one is httpdocs and the other is httpsdocs. Currently all files are in the httpdocs directory, but if I go the route of SSL I believe all files will need to be in the httpsdocs directory. Can someone give me an overview of how to go about this? Is there a setting in the admin that indicates SSL or no Non-SSL? DO I just copy and paste all the files from the httpdocs folder to the httpsdocs folder? THanks for any help. Tom
♥Vger Posted March 18, 2006 Posted March 18, 2006 DO I just copy and paste all the files from the httpdocs folder to the httpsdocs folder? This is the easist way to do it. Once you are satisfied that all works okay then you can delete the 'admin' folder from httpdocs. SSL settings are in the two configure.php files. Vger
thall89553 Posted March 19, 2006 Author Posted March 19, 2006 Thanks, that is what I thought. I do copy the admin folder over to httpsdocs as well right? How about the images folder? Thanks.
