Product pricing options

Hi,

I have my store set up. Thanks to all the programmers. My store sell artwork available in 'print only' and 'framed' options. I added both of these option to the product attributes. Under option value I gave the size and then value price. The problem is that in the OSCommerce manual it read that you have to add or subtract from the base price for options. That's fine, but then the prices are displayed incorrectly in the drop down menu. Instead of $45 and $120 it reads $45 and +$75. I also tried leaving the prefix blank and it does not work.

How do I offer the product with two options and display the correct sale price?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I don't know if I understand you correctly but I think I would solve the problem as followed.

I would list all my artwork to show the cheapest way in the product listing, so as I understand it that would be the print, and than in the product attributes I would put the "framed" option.

So when you are listing your items in the catalog, your price would be $45.00 and than in the option it would look like "framed" +75.

yes as above--also it may be a good idea to also have an attribute as "no thanks" with a value of 0 so that if all they want is the print with no frame the price will not increase--I hope this makes sense

"The answer is never the answer. What's really interesting is the mystery. If you seek the mystery instead of the answer, you'll always be seeking. I've never seen anybody really find the answer -- they think they have, so they stop thinking. But the job is to seek mystery, evoke mystery, plant a garden in which strange plants grow and mysteries bloom. The need for mystery is greater than the need for an answer.

Is there any way that it can be added without having to add the additional attribute with "0" value. This would require me to do double the work for every product entry. Please advise if you have any other idea on how I could do this.
