Guest Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 I am having this same problem. I am installing on a virtual server on Fedora Core 3 with the latest versions of Apache, PHP and MySQL. I followed all of the instructions however, when I click 'continue' on page 2 of the web install, the page just seems to refresh. I look in the httpd/error_log and there are no entries to indicate a problem. my phpinfo() is available here http://mimiandco.no-ip.com/ Please help us get past this. Thanks, Richard
an17d Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 PUSH AGAIN! You can try it on this link http://www.an17d.com/shop1/install/index.php Thanks!
wlinden Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 I am having the same issue trying to install osCommerce 2.2 Milestone 2 Update 051113. I have installed and tested Apache and Php and made sure that I was able to connect to MySql with Php. When I click the continue button on install.php it does nothing. I see that several other people are having the same problem and I wonder if they are all trying to install the same version of osCommerce ie. 2.2 Milestone 2 Update 051113?
ethansiew Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 Good news people. I was facing the same problem too. Spent an hour looking through the code. So here is the solution. 1. Stop apache or what ever web server you are running. 2. Edit your php.ini 3. Set register_long_arrays = On 4. Viola. Hope it helped everyone. Cheers, Ethan s.
