edie822 Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Hello I was just wondering if i can use images with Product Attributes instead of using a drop down list. Thanks in Advance Ed
jasonabc Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 not that I'm aware of. The way I do it is to use the dropdown list and then install the More Images v6 contribution to display images of all the different options (color, size etc) Jason My Contributions: Paypal Payflow PRO | Rollover Category Images | Authorize.net Invoice Number Fix

Thanks again
jasonabc Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 I did an online store that had a lot of color options - I used the ordinary dropdown and then built a Color Chart that launched in a popup with image examples of all my colors - seems to work pretty well: http://sugarpaper.com/store/product_info.p...products_id=133 Jason My Contributions: Paypal Payflow PRO | Rollover Category Images | Authorize.net Invoice Number Fix
edie822 Posted March 16, 2006 Author Posted March 16, 2006 But how do you select those colours?, even in the drop down there is no menu for the pop up colours. My problem is i have say 40 colours for lip stick or nail enamel, i dont want the customer to get confused by remembering the colour number/name and having to scoll down to a drop down and search for it, i think it would be more user friendly if i could make the attributes a radio button by an image, would that contribute you refered do something like that? Also is there anyway to do something like this lipstick colours Thanks Again Ed
jasonabc Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 ??? The first three menus all contain colors (paper colors, ink colors & envelope colors). Every color in the dropdown is represented in the popup Color Chart. Jason My Contributions: Paypal Payflow PRO | Rollover Category Images | Authorize.net Invoice Number Fix
