Catalog Product Image Additions

Hi, nearly there' first timer, have had issues with conf.php files, getting there.

Presently can create Catalog Categories/Products from Admin Panel, when images are added get this erorr

 

Error: Catalog images directory does not exist: /home/mydir/public_htmlosCommerce/osCommerce/images/

 

Also error @.

Error: Backup directory does not exist. Please set this in configure.php.

Backup Directory: /home/mydir/public_htmlosCommerce/admin/backups/

Hi, just had the same problem. Create a new folder called backups in the admin folder on your server. :D

My system now lets me start a backup but the screen goes blank and no backup gets made. :angry:

Had created 'backups' from install guidlines, but alas still nada

I've had similar problems to this in other areas that have turned out to be typos in the path such as \s and /s the wrong way round (that I've only notice after checking for a third time) or due to permissions being wrong.

 

My blank screen during backup is now cured - by changing the permissions for the 'backups' folder.
