Customer input to customize orders

I apologize in advance if this is a silly question, I am a newbie to osCommerce.

Also, I am not sure which category this question would fall. 'Tips and Tricks' seemed to be the most enticing.

I want to create a shopping cart for custom stickers, where buyers can request a message [limited length] of their choice to be printed on the stickers. Stickers will be offered in standard sizes, font colors etc. Buyers can choose the type of sticker and then request the message they would like for the sticker.

Is it possible to create such a store front using osCommerce?

Tips and suggestions are highly appreciated.

Thanks.

J Dias. :(

Look a little further, someone asked that today. Do not know what the answer was since it was about business cards.

i just searched for that topic and it wasn't very helpful other than telling the person to hire someone.

you can try something like this: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contri...product+options

for the slogan on the stickers... it may be easiest to simply ask that in the "notes" box once the customer has begun checkout

since there is a comments box at checkout and you can have different attributes for each product already I see no reason why this wouldnt work--you would just have to include in the item desription for the customer to add to comments during checkout your options

"The answer is never the answer. What's really interesting is the mystery. If you seek the mystery instead of the answer, you'll always be seeking. I've never seen anybody really find the answer -- they think they have, so they stop thinking. But the job is to seek mystery, evoke mystery, plant a garden in which strange plants grow and mysteries bloom. The need for mystery is greater than the need for an answer.
