Two simple problems

I tried to install BTSv1.5d. I uploaded all of the files and overwrote everything that I was supposed to. I couldn't figure out how to run bts.sql from phpmyadmin. I'm not very familiar with sql.

I then tried to use my old catalog site. Http://www.westsidedecoratingcenter.com/catalog and it says "illegal template directory"

How do I finish installing bts or how do I go back to what I had.

Thanks.

you will have to run the sql query it tells you to. always backup the database prior to doing an sql query just in case you do it wrong or something goes wrong!

"I must admit that I personally measure success in terms of the contributions an individual makes to her or his fellow human beings."

---Margaret Mead---

"The answer is never the answer. What's really interesting is the mystery. If you seek the mystery instead of the answer, you'll always be seeking. I've never seen anybody really find the answer -- they think they have, so they stop thinking. But the job is to seek mystery, evoke mystery, plant a garden in which strange plants grow and mysteries bloom. The need for mystery is greater than the need for an answer.

It doesn't say which query to run. I guess that's my problem.

From within phpmyadmin, select your dbase if not already selected, [depends on how many dbases you are running] then go to sql tab and you will see box "location of text file. browse to the sql file you need to import and then hit go.

the sql file should create all the tables for you and then you should be ok..
