I was having a problem with the State/Province drop down Box, so renamed the boxes so I don't have to use this bow, however, now the original Postcode box is used for State, but it only accepts a limited amount of characters. How can I make this longer?

thanks

Hiya, if you go into your admin site (http://your site/catalog/admin/index.php), and click on Configuration/my store and then Minimum Values, you'll find the setting for postcode length in there.

Yes but that is only for the minimum amount of chracters that is not the problem - for some reason there seems to be a maximum amount of characters limiting what can be typed in the box.

Does anyone know where to change this?

Change the length in your database, it will be currently set as standard to 10 characters.

If you use phpMyAdmin, select your database then Address Book then select the Postcode and change the 10 value to whatever you want it to be and save.

I would back up your database first before editing it.
