Turntablist Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 Hi! I'm planning to open an online shop soon and so I started playing around with the oscommerce template a little bit. But one thing I just can't figure out :( I think the best way to describe the problem is to give an example: I want to sell t-shirts with all kinds of printings on it and of course you can get every shirt you like in different sizes. So I created a product category for shirts and added some products. Then I went on to the product attributes page and created the option "size" and it's values (l-3xl). So far so good, BUT how does the database know how many shirts of each size are in stock??? Let's say I have 4 in size l, 2 in size xl, 1 in size 2xl and none in size 3xl and the customer adds an 3xl to the shopping cart, but that size isn't avaible. Or I sold both of the 2xl but I still have the others in stock. How do I get the database to know, how many shirts I have (or don't have) in the specific size? I hope you can understand what my problem is :) Perhaps it's just one simple thing that I can't find at the moment... Greetings from cold, cold Switzerland... Michael
