Wendy James Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 Ok, I am beyond lost and hoping someone can help me. I am working on a site and everything works beautifully BUT no matter what I do I can not get to checkout_shipping.php while checking out OR by typing it in directly. It keeps forwarding to checkout_payment.php. No matter what page you are on if you run your mouse over the link it says it is taking you to the shipping page, but it jumps to payment. Anyone have any clue at all why this would be happening? There is no contribution installed to shorten the checkout there is no checkout without an account installed... nothing at all that should interfere with the shipping page. It had CCGV installed and running but I shut that off just to see... and there was a free shipping if over $ installed but I have removed and deleted the file, still no change. I have replaced the shipping and payment pages with stock osCommerce pages, still same issue. Checked the filenames.php file and that is right. One thing I noticed, but I am not sure if it has anything to do with it or not but there is no oscid on any of the pages... which also has me stumped as nothing has been installed to remove them and they do not have force cookies on or the search engine friendly thing. The layout of the site has been heavily modified so I really don't want to have to rewrite everything so if anyone has any ideas I would appreciate them. Thanks! julianpuje Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 Have you tried loading a stock checkout_process.php as you will have modified that for CCGV? J A little knowledge is dangerous, I SHOULD KNOW. If Life Begins At 40, What ends????
Maggilove Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 It had CCGV installed and running but I shut that off just to see... Do the products have weights assigned? If not, CCGV will cause shipping to be skipped on the assumption that they are virtual products. :)
Wendy James Posted March 14, 2006 Author Posted March 14, 2006 omg I am so laughing here, even though it isn't funny at all. I basically did the adding contribus and doing the layout for this site for a design firm, they then handed the site over and did all of the adding products and configuring items etc. I never thought to check the weight issue. That seems to have solved it. Wish I had seen this post before I redid the entire site. lmao good gawd. I do have to say though, that I have had the CCGV running on other sites with products without weights and never had this issue come up. Is this something in a newer version? Do you know? Thanks!
