panther733 Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 If I sign-in on my french or on my german homepage, the sign-in window is always in english. The sign-in link is now for any language: https://secureserver.com/mydomain/log.php for the 3 languages. After the display of the sign-in window in english, I must click on the french or german flag and the sign-in window is now translated in the corresponding language. How to make the sign-in, create account & checkout in the same language of the homepage? Does something is wrong in my configure.php? How to make the sign-in links appear like the following: https://secureserver.com/mydomain/log.php?language=en https://secureserver.com/mydomain/log.php?language=fr https://secureserver.com/mydomain/log.php?language=de Thank you for your help. Gilles

Gilles Hi Gilles nothing wrong with the setting. It is working as it should. So why do you always get your site in English?! Well, the reason is your browser setting. Your browser has a primary language setting, which you can usually find in the browser preferences. In some cases the browser is taking the primary language from your language setting of the operating system. To try it out, just change the primary language setting - in Firefox you can find it under Preferences -> Advanced -> General - Languages - Edit Languages... Or you take an other computer from a friend who has a different language preference than you. Rest insure that your visitors usually get the right language, if not they can change it manually. Hope it is of help Rich
