warrenerjm Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 Hi I have tried to do the contribution to put transparent boxes in the boxes. It has nearly worked but not quite. I have a thin white line on the left hand side of the box, which appears on the left side of the left column & right side of the right column. In the New products for March, the thin white line appears on the left side of the right box. The left side is OK, but this is the only corner that is rounded still as I couldn't find the code for it to change to false,false. Two picture sizes have been mentioned before on the forum. 12 wide x 10 and 11 x 14 I have tried all conbinations & have 16 wide x 11 now. Please could someone advise on this & the rounded corner if possible. Thank you Julie :blink:

spax Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 I think if it were cellpadding doing this, the white line effect would be all round the cell, not just on one side. Have you made your image, transparent down one side? If that is the case, you will see the, white background colour, through it.

I took the transparent boxes from the contribution & uploaded them as per instructions. At first I had two white (or it might be the colour of the original box) lines appear, but by resizing the pics I am now only left with one BUT I can't get rid of that one. If anyone has another copy of the three transparent boxes I could try I would be grateful. Thanks Julie
spax Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 If it was a contribution, then it probably isn't what I was thinking. Is your site on a remote server now, or are you developing locally, on your PC? If it is on a remote server, paste the URL and someone will be able to look at it.
crowseed Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 I just replaced the catalog/images/infobox/corner_left.gif etc images with a 1x1 pixel transparent image and it worked fine. Hope this helps.
