Ike Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 I am considering making an investment to a group of individuals who have approached me with their Business Proposal. They are Secretaries and Word Processors who worked for the major law firms, financial and investment banking institutions, and trade organizations between 1976 and-2005. They are trade professionals who, individually, have a minimum of 30 years of work-related experience and education and are fluent in current and past software programs, computer hardware, and office machinery. They want to offer the following "Off-Site services to Small to Medium Sized Business entities: WORD PROCESSING: Document Formatting, Slide Show Presentations, Form Designs and Automation, Book Layout and Production. BOOKKEEPING: convert receipts into accounting programs, OFFICE AUTOMATION: Scan paper files to graphic images and store onto CDs or DVDs. LEGAL AND MEDICAL TRANSCRIPTION MY QUESTION(s) are: Is this a service Companies are willing to utilize? If yes, which Industry has the greatest response to this style of work production? Would Confidentiality issues hinder a Company's use of "Off-Site" Services? What is the normal timeframe to expect profits? A few Months or Years? I appreciate any information that will assist me in my decision. Quote
