Guest Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 I am posting with great trepidation as I have read some of the responses to newbie queries, but here goes..My son convinced me I would be way better off with my own online store as opposed to the constant rising expense and frustration with the online selling "juggernaut" aka ebay..I now find myself with a site that I am slowly beginning to figure out but I cannot understand the lingo on the back end so I cannot make changes with headings and print because I do not understand what php etc means..Is there a source that will make understanding the language easier for me..I would have thought a "How to.." manual would be available with the purchase of a template..
kgt Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 See http://www.oscommerce.info/ http://www.oscommerce.info/kb/osCommerce/C...n_and_Layout/53 Keep in mind it's difficult for people to answer broad questions. No doubt you have many questions, but you will find you get more answers the more specific you can make your questions rather than asking generalized ones. Also, it helps to search the forums for answers too. I tend to use Google, because a) I'm used to it B) it's faster than the forum search and c) it generally gets me more accurate responses, especially if you're searching for a phrase. You can tell Google to search only the forums by using the site: keyword: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=h...com&btnG=Search Contributions Discount Coupon Codes Donations
