Brad Krattiger Posted March 9, 2006 Posted March 9, 2006 I have created a group of 20 types of products in the manufacturers group. I would like to put 10 or so products inside each of those groups. I have been unable to find a way to do that. Please help!!! Thank you, brad
learoypc Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 Are you sure you are in the right spot. Sound more like you should have 20 catagories for which you will have 10 products listed in each. Each product can be linked to a particular manufacture.
Brad Krattiger Posted March 10, 2006 Author Posted March 10, 2006 thank you for a response. Let me try again. You have a drop down list under Manufacturers. There you can add and edit the list of Manufacturers. I have done that, but mostly have classified them as a catagory. Now I would like to add products within each of those (catagories)Manufacturers. Each would be a downloadable product. Can I do that? or do I need to do that under the catagory in the top column area. Thanks, Brad
Brad Krattiger Posted March 11, 2006 Author Posted March 11, 2006 please help, catalog//admin/manufacturers.php?selected_box=catalog&osCAdminID=80ef806eb1365b80182c9367eac749ac The manufacturers.php page is where I have listed several products. Within those products will be items. But I do not understand how to add, edit, or delete the items within those different products. I hope I am making this clear to understand because the original oscommerce template has this done. please help, brad
learoypc Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 Brad, I think you are in the wrong place. Basically you need to have your catagory headings, then within each catagory heading you can have subheadings or if you don't need any subheadings you can list your products. When you have a look at how each product is saved, you get to attach a manufacturer to each product. Hope this helps. Royce
Brad Krattiger Posted March 13, 2006 Author Posted March 13, 2006 thank you Royce for responding. I have given up on that approach. I will use the catagory folders instead. but thanks, brad
