HappyApple Posted March 9, 2006 Posted March 9, 2006 Hi, I've just started establishing my site and everything appears to be working fine, but the images have now gone all screwed.... http://www.giaconda.com.au/catalog/index.php not all of them (the pictures i've uploaded for example), but just some... this is occurring in both IE and firefox. and despite editing the style sheet to include the background from the normal site, it won't appear... Has anybody got any idea?
Guest Posted March 9, 2006 Posted March 9, 2006 looks like your images were edited or something see for example images/default/4.gif images/table_background_default.gif
HappyApple Posted March 9, 2006 Author Posted March 9, 2006 Thanks for the quick reply enigma. But thats the thing, i haven't touched the images... i can't explain it. I'm using SmartFTP to upload files/images... and i still can't figure out why my stylesheet isn't calling up my background???? text-align: center; background-image: url('http://www.giaconda.com.au/images/leafpanel2.gif'); background: #ffffff; color: #000000; margin: 0px;
Guest Posted March 9, 2006 Posted March 9, 2006 I guess you're overriding the background property with the body tag in the php script catalog\index.php just replace it with the simple <body> its wrong anyways for the page type. as of the images in the catalog as I said they seem corrupt.
HappyApple Posted March 10, 2006 Author Posted March 10, 2006 Thanks again... the problem does lie with corrupt images, but i can't understand why, because they are fine sitting here on my hard drive, but as soon as they're loaded up, they go all f%^$% i'll try and think of some way around it...
