Guest Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 I successfully installed osCommerce 2.2ms2 but when I click "My account", it said "The page cannot be found", but "...catalog/account.php" is right there (checked by ftp). "Checkout" didn't work either. Could anyone advise? Thanks a million!
jasonabc Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 When you click on those links and get the 404, can you copy and paste the URL in the browser address bar into this thread? I think you've misconfigured your config file but a look at the URL will tell me if that's right or not. Guest Posted March 9, 2006 Posted March 9, 2006 The test page is here: http://engrafico.com/Shop/catalog/index.php Is this related to how the SSL server set on this web hosting? I successfully installed osCommerce 2.2ms2 but when I click "My account", it said "The page cannot be found", but "...catalog/account.php" is right there (checked by ftp). ♥Vger Posted March 9, 2006 Posted March 9, 2006 You only have a shared ssl cert from ipowerweb, and your site is set up for a full ssl cert. You need to edit both configure.php files with the correct shared ssl address - which you must get from your hosts. Vger
Guest Posted March 9, 2006 Posted March 9, 2006 Got it...thanks!! Is there any way to block the showing of such shared ssl address in the address window? Or do you mind suggesting some hosting provider with full ssl cert? You only have a shared ssl cert from ipowerweb, and your site is set up for a full ssl cert. You need to edit both configure.php files with the correct shared ssl address - which you must get from your hosts. Vger
♥Vger Posted March 9, 2006 Posted March 9, 2006 Most hosting companies (sadly not all) will provide you with a dedicated ip address and full ssl cert (the two go together on a shared server), but it will cost extra. There is no way of hiding the shared ssl address and getting the padlock in the browser. Vger
