OK. I am using latest versions of Apache, PHP, and MySQL. I am using virtual hosts to host multiple sites. The standard docs on osCommerce state that I am to install the files to the htdocs section (since I'm using Apache), but since I'm using multiple hosts, shouldn't I install it to the site directory off of the root directory?

Second question: I run http://localhost/catalog/install and click on the file install.php to begin the installation. The first screen appears with the two check boxes for a new installation and something about the configuration. I then press the "continue" button and the screen refreshes to the SAME screen; nothing changes!!

I created the database with phpmyadmin and a user name and associated the two. I even (which the docs don't say to do) inported the oscommerce.sql file into the database I created, just to see if that would help, but it did not change a thing!

So weird... If anyone has ANY ideas, PLEASE let me know. I'm dead in the water right now.

Thanks so much!

YES!! That worked perfectly. Now I'm getting some weird error when I use the default catalog. When I come to the end of a sale and do NOT check off the "send me information" box, I get an error, but if I check it off and press continue, it will continue. Shame on me, but I am not at that location, so I can't give the error I get, but will later on this evening. Just thought the issue might have come up before.

Thanks for your help!!
