Changing Featured Items on home page

I know it has to be somewhere in these forums, but I did not find. How do I change the products that are done by "new products" on the very first page. Is there a module to decide what goes there? It just defaults to last items entered.

Thats how it is. your last products are showing.

So if you do not want it, you can make it stop displaying by taking the line of code out. The code is in index.php - something like "include( ..... ) "

 

Or use a contrib like "featured products".

 

Sorry more details I do not memories, have to look it up, but I do not have the time right now.
