m_ring2003 Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 Hi Folks, Need your advice. How do I enable both local shipping fees and international shipping fees? For example, $5 for local shipping (US) $15 for International Orders (Outside US) Is this possible? Can someone please advise me? Many thanks in advance.

m_ring2003 Posted March 9, 2006 Author Posted March 9, 2006 Thanks for your reply. I tried creating a combination of table rate (for local rates) AND Zone Rates (rest of the world). Btw, i from outside US, and I created a new zone b'cos my country is without a zone. I created a zone 1) Why can't I see anything in the dropdown arrow for the below (except for none), located in Modules -> Shipping -> Flat Rate ? I'm from outside US, and I created a new zone b'cos my country does not have a zone. However, there is no difference with/without zone cos there is nothing there. Shipping Zone If a zone is selected, only enable this shipping method for that zone. 2) Selecting a combination of table rate and zone rate would give customers the option to choose table rate and zone rate. If a registered customer shipping address is in Rest of the world, and that the defined zone rates is rest of the world, can any tweaking be done so that the customer does not need to choose the options? 3) Is there a simple way other than to input all countries for Zone rates (rest of world)? 4) I see "Shipping to US : 0.5 lb(s)" at "checkout_shipping.php", anyway to change lb(s) to kg? Desperately need you guys help on this. Many thanks. Try using a combination of table rate or flat rate and ZONE RATES. Peter
