Where is the Design thread?

Why oh why does it have to be this way.

Joomla/mambo isn't nearly as messy as this osCommerce business.

I haven't quite found a clue as to where the hell the the site is receiving the info to draw outlines around the boxes?

Where is it in the miles of .php files, strewn all over that the top left box gets a certain .gif corner and the top right a different .gif corner??

very, very, very confusing stuff.

Any actual help here would be appreciated.

I haven't found a clear map of the site's default package layout and how it is controlled VISUALLY.

I'd love to know why every "Box" has a border and background color that is beyond my apparent control.

Furthermore... where is the design thread for this? Why isn't there a specific forum all together just about making this thing look a heap better?

Check out the knowledge base here to help with frequently asked questions.

Edit the stylesheet.css, find the class you wish to change and alter the colors and such their. Look here for stylesheet definitions.

Good Luck,

Moon :D

MAN THIS IS FRUSTRATING.

I have seen all 7 whopping design posts and the amazing total of 5 "boxes" related posts at the knwoledge base.

Here is my EXACT dilemma.

the outlines around the boxes...

where is that? it isn't called in the CSS?

there is no CSS definition of a Border:value for any of the box classes...

yet... like magic... there they are.

where the hell are they coming from?

The borders you see is actually not a border....its a table background color.

.infoBox {

background: #b6b7cb;

}
