Hi,

I want to use different pixel sizes for normal and enlarged images. For example, for my catalog pictures I want tu use 300x300 pixels and for the enlarged pictures 600x600 pixels. Any idea how to do this?

Thank you,

You have a ton of options on how to do this.

There are thumbnail contributions.

More than one image size contributions.

Or you could just edit the product_info.php file to have it show a larger image.

How you do it is up to you and depends on what you feel comfortable with, or what extra steps you want to take to make your images come out looking better when the smaller size.

this one to have a bigger product image is small and easy to install

and works with a thumbnail contribution to help with image distorting

But there are a TON of choices as far as contributions go.

Search for small medium large, thumbnail, multible images and so on will get you all kinds of options.

Hi. I have a question regarding Bigger Product Image v_1.1.

Am I able to install it so that it only changes the product image size, but not install the image resizing feature?

Here's what happened:

I installed Bigger Images and it's great, but it ended up 'breaking' my dynamic MoPics contribution (http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1114/).

I had previously installed Automatic Thumbail (http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1484) and I think by installing Bigger Product Image there was too much resizing code that conflicted.

Automatic Thumbnails would create a thumbnail of my images in /images/imagecache/, and now with Bigger Product Images it creates a thumbnail by resizing and then renaming an image to image1-150x150.jpg (for example).

I was able to undo the Automatic Thumbail contribution and still have the bigger product image, and then with a little fidgeting i was able to fix the dynamic mopics (by copying images from the old /imagecache/ used by Automatic Thumbail and copying it into /thumbs/ which is used by dynamic mopics, b/c the resizing no longer works on the mopics). But now when i have new instances of multiple pics for mopics, i have to manually resize them.

So, does anyone know if there is a way to keep Automatic Thumbails fully installed (which is a great contribution and worked on product images and dynamic mopics) and then for the Bigger Product Images to only install the portion where it changes the size of the image, but w/o installing the automatic resizingk, or some way to get it all to work together? In my various attempts i'm able to get everything working the way it used to (Automatic Thumbnails resizing the mopics), and the product image is bigger as set in /admin/ but it's not automatically resizing it, it's just warping it.

I know this is all quite a mouthfut but maybe someone else who had dynamic mopics and automatic thumbnails knows what I'm talking about.

Thanks!
