gigsscom Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 http://www.gigsandgadgets.com/ when you go to my website you get this error: Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: /home/gigsscom/public_html/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file. Could someone tell me step by step how to fix this please?
insomniac2 Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 Go to catalog/includes/configure.php If you're using windows .. right click on the file and put a check in the box that says read only The warning is telling you that the file can be altered. You should do the same for catalog/admin/includes/configure.php If your on linux you have to chmod .. but i am not that good with unix etc. ... but their are lots of tutorials on the web.
