nefm2004
Is there any way to create storewide discounts based on membership? For example, say I sell to the general public at the retail price, but someone wants to sign up as a wholesaler and I want to offer them a discount off the retail price. Is there any way I can set this up? Or do I need to set up an additional store with dealer prices? Also, in general, rather than clicking on specials and going through each item, can I apply I certain percentage that would be effective store wide? thanks! Guest
there are contributions for this. Like sppc or you could search for "discount" and check the details of each one.

jango
This would have been nice to find last month. I would like to say that adding in a discount for select customers isn't that hard. The most difficult part would be trying to figure out what affects what in the code of oscommerce. I set an if check to look for a particular something in a customers profile, and if that was present, the code applies a bit of math the subtotal (before shipping). I had to modify the inital checkout file, and the confirmation to make the correct numbers pass. But again, it's not all that hard. Just figuring out where things go.
