Shipping Options Not Working

Pls help! - USPS and UPS have quit working on my website. Message at check out states:

 

USPS

An error occured with the USPS shipping calculations.

If you prefer to use USPS as your shipping method, please contact the store owner.

UPS

An error occured with the UPS shipping calculations.

Invalid ShipperPostalCode

If you prefer to use UPS as your shipping method, please contact the store owner.

 

There have been no modifications to the website or shipping set up. I have verified all account numbers and formatting are correct. Any suggestions? I'm losing business and with orders I do get (Flat Rate is working) I have problems since flat rate does not always apply.

 

Additionally I need direction on setting up "Instruction Blurb" for Flat Rate shipping.

 

Is anyone else having this problem?

Go to Admin/Configuration/Shipping/Packaging and on the postal code, make sure it has your postal code.

 

Now I can't even get USPS to work. it says:

 

"United States Postal Service

An error occured with the USPS shipping calculations.

If you prefer to use USPS as your shipping method, please contact the store owner. "

 

And I can't figure out what I need to do.

error of shipping calculation can be at your end or at UPs end not being able to understand your request.

Or might be that the account details at some UPS end has changed.

 

You need to check what is posted to UPS and what is returned.

This will give you a fair idea of where things have gone wrong.

And if your USPS was like mine, I was just putting the wrong user ID in the store admin. You have to use the USPS Webtools User ID and don't use a password since USPS doesn't use passwords for this anymore, so the email said.

I am also having the same problem. Since there are multiple people having this problem as of today I would think that ups has changed something on their end that is causing the problem. If anyone is having this same problem please post so I can diagnose the source of the problem.

I am also having the same problem. Since there are multiple people having this problem as of today I would think that ups has changed something on their end that is causing the problem. If anyone is having this same problem please post so I can diagnose the source of the problem.

Just checked and I'm still working.

 

The only time I've seen this error is whent he customer insist on putting other things in their zip code field - like PO Box's etc...

 

I've been needing to address a second line to that address field.
