Guest
Hi all, This site is a rebuild of my first ever osC site. It still has a good bit of work left on it, but I'm picking up the pace now and hoping to go live soon. My Effort Is Here! The site is for friends of mine who run a furniture business - yep you guessed, it's a freebie!!!! We tried out eCommerce for a short time a couple of years ago - it went reasonably well! So the hope is that this time, we're a bit older and wiser! There is still a lot left to do : SSL - an absolute must ! more product to upload lots and lots of broken links! Privacy, terms etc .... There will be a link in the main nav bar soon for 'Furniture Collections' soon, but for now, these can only be accessed from the main front page. A lot of the category descriptions still have to be sorted out. I'm keen to know what you think of the navigation, can you browse the products easily enough, is it obvious whats going on - and most importantly of all of course, "WOULD YOU BUY FROM THIS SHOP". Thanks all in advance. BrianD

tokage85
Not sure about your stuff, but i think you should add more description to each of them , so the customers can easily decide. currently, if i'm looking for a table or a mirror, i won't buy from your shop, b'cos i'm not sure bout what i going to get
Guest
Thanks for the reply I agree with you about the descriptions - they need to be 'matured'. I still have a lot of product to upload and I'm concentrating just now on linking items in the same 'collection' together. I think its a fine balance in product descriptions between too much text, and just enough to deliver the right amount of information to make a sale - I'll be working on this though.
