Hi,

I' just finished installing OScommerce and when I went to see the store live, I see this message at the top:

Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: /home/mywebsite/public_html/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file.

What do I do to the configuration file? Please explain thoroughly as I am a novice

Thank you

Using your ftp client to chmod the file removing all the write permissions. Or you can use the file manager from your hosting control panel to remove them as well.

The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing.

Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems?

There are many very useful osC Contributions

Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here

BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??
