Guest Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 Hello, I'm kinda stumped here and hope someone might be able to help me. I'm using the old CSV Importer since I know it well. Here's the catch my vendors to avoid me having to have them send me all the images to my DB for the items are going to send me links to their server images instead. If theres anyone whom can tell me which /images/ I need to remove to get the default to root so it will search elsewhere I would greatly appreciate it... I think it's the admin/categories.php but I cannot find it to save my life....
♥Vger Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 The same question has been asked by many a drop-shipper. The answer is - it won't work. You either need to list your products without images, or else have the images on your website. The only othr workaround is to have the products without images, but use the Manufacturers link in the product description work as a link to the image of the product on your providers website - but then you have to add all of those links. Guest Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 I appreciate it but I know there must be a way you are only redirecting from the primary images within your own domain to another domain.... This is not impossible it's just finding out which of the images is directing those particular ones and redirecting it.... We did this about 4 years back on an older version of OScom but it tooks me weeks to figure it out.....
