How do you add zones???

dumb question:

 

when i change this setting in zones.php from one to any other number it creates extra fields as you would expect but there are no labels associated with these fields. also, if you enter numbers into to the fields and click save it does not seem to save them. so, how do you add zones:

 

 

// CUSTOMIZE THIS SETTING FOR THE NUMBER OF ZONES NEEDED

$this->num_zones = 1;

Can someone please help me create multiple zones????

 

There is only one zone configured and when i add a second it adds 3 fields but with no labels and when i save the info in those fields it doesn't save. I know someone has figured out how to add zones can you please just tell me what needs to be configured???

1. goto zones.php and change this->num_zones to however many zones you want.

2. edit the zones admin with the new zone shipping data

3. DO NOT UNINSTALL THE ZONES MODULE..IF YOU DO YOU WILL LOSE ALL THE DATA YOU ENTERED! The module currently reverts back to the default install parameters if you change the module.

Hello,

 

Doing this only does as above, and adds the boxes. However, clicking update doesn't seem to 'update'. I see none of the information after I hit enter. Any insight would be great!!

I had the same issue and found the answer here;

Basically you need to click remove on the shipping module and then re-install it (after you edit zones.php). You then get the multiple zones with fields descriptions which saves too!!

 

Hope this saves someone a few minutes!!!
