hello,

i am working on my shipping module. i have USPS working but i notice that if i try to buy something heavier than a pound that first class mail is not offered as an option. also, is there some way to specify that what you're shipping will fit in an envelope vs. a box? USPS offers so many options i think it will be confusing to the recipient.

About UPS, it wasn't included in my standard install which i just got a few weeks ago. where can i get the files to implement UPS shipping?

thanks,

Can someone please help me create multiple zones????

There is only one zone configured and when i add a second it adds 3 fields but with no labels and when i save the info in those fields it doesn't save. I know someone has figured out how to add zones can you please just tell me what needs to be configured???

thanks,

Sorry I don't know about the UPS thing or zones as I charge a flat rate, but I do know that first class is only up to 13 ounces - then it has to go priority, express, etc. Good luck!

Keegan,

To activate the extra zones correctly you only have to remove the module and directly after that install it again.

With that I mean you go to your admin->modules->shipping->zones and press remove followed by a renewed install. Be aware you will loose all existing entries so you better write them down or safe keep them in a seperate text file or something. Everytime you change the amount of zones you will have to do this to activate them properly.

As for the UPS module: that normally comes with a default osCommerce installation. See if you have the files (catalog)/includes/modules/shipping/ups.php and (catalog)/includes/languages/english/modules/shipping/ups.php

If not you can copy them by hand from the latest osCommerce download package.
