Commerce website that allows third party sellers and listings

Hi,

 

I am interested in dedicating a portion of my website that will allow people to sell their items (in particular, books) freely. Essentially this would be something like amazon's service that allows third-party sellers to sell alongside amazon except I don't want to charge a fee for it.

 

I want to make it free. Part of my inspiration and motivation comes from craigslist and I believe in creating value and making it freely available.

 

I would appreciate any advice and guidance anyone can provide.
