Setting up Authorize.net

I just installed the newest version of oscommerce, and I installed hte authorize.net module, but it doesn't work. Everything proceeds normally but nothing is ever sent to authorize.net. The authorizenet.php file says this at the top:

So I assume I need to download something more recent... the problem is I can't find anything. I see lots of references to authorize net consolidation1.7 but I can't find it.

The contribution you mention is in the contribution section. Just select the Community menu above, go there and search for Authorize.net. But the default one should at least connect to your gateway provider. Do you have an Authorize.net account? Have you entered in your account details in the payment module in admin?

I can't find the contribution in the contrib section. A search for "authorize.net" or just "authorize" is no help... It looks like either its disappeared or I'm really bad at finding things.

 

Yes, I have an authorize.net account and I've enter everything in the admin section...

Maybe the contribution was moved? I found many supposed links to it and they all give me the same page with the same error.

Hmm, you are correct. it is not there. The team has been going through the contributions and removing any that do not follow the guidelines for contributions. So my guess is that it was deleted for that reason. You may be able to find out for sure by asking in the support thread for it.

Since I can't find this contrib, what are my options? The module that comes with the most recent oscommerce doesn't work for me... it seems to not even be connection to Authorize.net... I can enter any cc# > 10 digits with an exp date and it gets confirmed.

Yes, I found many contribution that have to do with authorize.net, but none of them are what i'm looking for. I get things like an echeck module, a gpg addon, and two old modules from 2003... I'm looking for the most popular one, Authorize.net Conslidated 1.7

Well this one is set up to work with 1.7b. I don't know if the Secure Card (GPG) will interfere with its operation but it's worth looking at.

I'd take another look at the admin panel and make sure you've configured everything correctly and have input the authorize.net key they provide to you. I use authorize.net and don't have any problems.

 

Also if you log onto authorize.net's website, choose "settings and profile" on the left and then scroll to the bottom of the screen and click on the "test mode" link under the general category and make sure you've selected your store to be in "live mode".

I'm going to try today to use the authorize + gpg without the gpg and see what happens...

 

Schnauzer: I have checked and rechecked everything from authorize.net. THe transaction key is good, all the settings are correct, and everything is in production/live mode.
