I need to make a site like www.bustedtees.com or www.nerdyshirts.com. They both use OS commerce but you would never know. I was wondering if all I need to do is link to the shopping cart and have the "add to cart" buttons on my own design, or if I still need the client-top.php and footer and all that jazz. thanks!

bustedtees isn't osCommerce but nerdyshirts is.

lol. thanks for pointing that out. i actually meant www.snorgtees.com anyway.

can you help me with my question?

Yes, all things are possible. You can strip out much of osCommerce and just use the Shopping Cart section, plus customer sign-up etc. Or you can use something like the Simple Template System to organise and style what appears on your site using html pages.

is there a site that lists the basic codes... like i wanna have the amount of items in your shopping cart at the top of the scren, rather than in a box on the side, so thats just a line of code. is there such a list, or will i need to ask a question everytime? lol.

Th contribution area can be your best friend... or if you are like me, your biggest nightmare because I am always finding new things I want to add to stores.

There are TONS of great contributions there and should be checked out by anyone who wants something other than a stock site. : )

All the sites just listed look rather similar in nature.. Are they using a specific template? And if so, does anybody recall what template they are running?

I am referring to..

Snorgtees.com, Nerdyshirts.com, and bustedtees.com.. They primarily all feature a rather identical home page to their site. Check it out and you'll notice a stirring similarity.

What are you bumping? It's not your thread and you haven't asked any question.

Anyway, bumping is strictly against forum rules.
