Additional Address information

Dear All,

 

for my own requirements, I would need to add an additional address to the customer's profile.

 

Here's what I need...

 

In the "create account" process, during an online order, a customer specifies both a delivery address and a billing address.

 

I need to have a third address adde at this time - required for a specific service usage (not available everywhere).

 

Thus, if the specified address in not covered by the service, there is no poitn of going on with the online service order.

 

I already have a coverage tool page. Now I need to have this information put in the osC DB, under the customer's name.

 

Any ideas ?

I have been thinking on various ways to do this. Here's a thought... tell me what do you think :

 

I could add extra fields in customer's profile like : address2, zipcode2, city2, country2...

 

This would solve my present needs but... the best way would surely be to add an extra address to the ADDRESS BOOK.

 

Any ideas ?...
