gjindancer Posted February 27, 2006 Share Posted February 27, 2006 I have tried switching the display taxes with prices to false, then true again, but the tax will not display with my prices... I am using GBP and set a tax rate to 17.5% and set up a local zone too... On adding a product, the tax calculator seems to work when I add the prices in, but they wont show until the checkout.. Help! IllinoisSixQuarter and USAZero The IllinoisSixQuarter is set to Country United States; Zone Illinois. While the USAZero is set to Country USA; Zone All Zones. I have two tax rates as below ========================== Priority Tax Class Zone Tax Rate ========================== 1 Taxable Goods IllinoisSixQuarter 6.25% 1 Taxable Goods USAZero 0.00% However, Once I place the order, I do not see any sales tax appear in the checkout page. For a $19.99 purchase with a $5 shipping charge the tax was computed at $0.31 I tried various permutations and combinations to figure how to get $0.31 with 6.25% and got stumped. What is going on here? Figured this one out. Posting it here in the hope that it provides a clue to others in the same desperate need of help. :D I had to go to the Catalog -> Product Listing in the admin section. Then click on each folder icon (yes teh folder icon not the edit and other buttons on the right). Now select each product and assign it to the appropriate tax class.
