Problems with contribution (Price per Qty)

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I upgraded my standard osCommerce-2.2ms2 with the Quantity Price Breaks contribution which allows a customer to have discount price offers when he choose specific item quantities, for exemple, a discount when he wants to buy 3 or 10 items at the same time.

http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contri...,price+quantity

I have very curious results. I updated it twice in order to strengthen my checkings.

For testing, if I set the following parameters in products page :

Price for packaging 1 : 10.00 for 1 item,

Price for packaging 2 : 25.00 for 3 items,

Price for packaging 3 : 75.00 for 10 items,

I have these abnormal results when I select a quantity in the catalog products page for customer :

Qty = 1, price is 10.00, OK,

Qty = 2, price is 20.00, OK,

Qty = 3, price is 75.00 ?

Qty = 4, price is 100.00 ??

Qty = 10, price is 750.000 ???

Have you heard of problem like this one ?

I used the standard osCommerce-2.2ms2 with this contribution. The aim was to propose the customer discount prices for specific quantities, keeping the possibility for him to buy spparate items.

Many thanks in advance for your advices of help.

Jacques

You interpret the way you have to enter the prices wrong. You have to enter the price per item and the minimum quantity to get that price.

So for packaging 2 you enter 8.3333 and for packaging 3: 7.5
