keeganwalden Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 Hello, I have installed and configured WPP for the latest version of OSC for my site. I am trying to connect to the sandbox for testing and have a few questions. 1) do i use my paypal api cert or do i request a separate cert from the sandbox? 2) when i try to request an api cert from the sandbox it says that my account is unverified and i have to verify it eventhough it IS verified. You need to echo the responses and checkout why this is happening. Also the other reason could be that you might have not logged into sandbox. Can you provide a screen shot or reference to your site. satish Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 it's www.denmothers.net/catalog when you go through express checkout it returns you to my site's login page with no explanation of why. any ideas? thanks, keegan ps, also, when i tried to disable express checkout in the admin module by setting enable to false the button still shows up as though it were enabled!!! I checked your site and the flow appears to be ok. It has the option of loging in to paypal before adding your details to the site. Also if you choose the other button(not the paypal one) then it will ask you for login on the site (i case you are not logged in). Also I found that you have disabled EC and at final checkout i did not find the EC button. As I am not having the sandbox logn details that should map with your business account so in the other case where I reached sandbox was not able to contniue. From whatever I saw it appears that the flow is ok. I suggest you to try some site that do have this installed to get the functionality and flow. dynamoeffects Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 If the shopping cart is empty when they return, my guess is that the session has died in between the transaction. Does it happen to customers who are already logged in too? Quote Please use the forums for support! I am happy to help you here, but I am unable to offer free technical support over instant messenger or e-mail.
keeganwalden Posted March 1, 2006 Author Posted March 1, 2006 yes, when you click on the paypal express checkout button, go to paypal, come back to the site, login or fill out your information, you are taken to an empty shopping cart. it appears the session has died in those 2 minutes you were gone. is there some way to extend the session length? If the shopping cart is empty when they return, my guess is that the session has died in between the transaction. Does it happen to customers who are already logged in too? Quote
