I've managed to place (apparently) EasyPopulate in all the appropriate places. It shows up under admin right where it's supposed to. HOWEVER, when I attempt to upload the file I've created, it bombs out.

I am assuming that there are problems in the variable configurations of the easypopulate.php file -- but like so many others I'm not a PHP programmer (although I have recently purchased a book, which seems a little unuseful at THIS moment...!!!! >_< )

Is anybody familiar with the next steps of configuring the easypopulate file to successfully import my text file?? ANY help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Hi Kevin,

i recently installed easypopulate and it worked fine apart from the auto-splitting of large files ( i had over 17000 records to add to a book store).

Best way to start with easypopulate is to use it to download your current product list FIRST. That way you have a csv file with the correct headings in it. Use this as the starting point to upload your products.
