Easypopulate not working

Hi,

I was looking for an easy way to upload all my products at once. Someone suggested EasyPopulate which looked good. Downloaded it and spent the evening reading the manual.

I got the EasyPoplutate menu selection working in the admin/catalog section. Then uploaded easypopulate.php & easypopulate_function.php to the admin directory.

When I select the EasyPopulate selection I get a blank screen. So I checked out the unzipped directories I found the following.

Admin included easypopulate.php and easypopulate_functions.php - the easypopulate file does not contain any code it contained only the following - SCU $ Xxc``` fpc d` d.

Using Dreamweaver MX.

The directory created from the zip file - Admin\includes\languages\english also had easypopulate.php and this file did include some code. Tried to use this and the same thing happened.

The manual talked about reading the easypopulate.php - configuration variables which I do no find in the file.

Questions:

Did I miss something? - Obviously - lol

Where are the config variables the manual talks about?

Should I upload the files to the admin or the catalog\admin directoy? - tried both.

What else do I need to do.

Thanks

Tom

Tried to see if I could delete the previous post but could not see where I could do that.

Well I passed this hurdle - I went back into the contribution section and downloaded the file again.

After opening it I saw that the admin\easypopulate.php file was alot larger than the first one which was only 1kb in size.

Uploaded th efile to the admin directory and selected easypopulate form the catalog area and the file upload pages opend right up.

Well thanks for reading my long post and willing to help out.

Tom.

Keep watching I am sure there will be another easypopulate post soon.
